Welcome to My Studio

Hi friends,
I’m so happy you’ve found your way here! My name’s Lillian, and I’m the artist behind Lillian’s Made — a creative studio where watercolor paintings transform into prints, patterns, and little pieces of joy. 🌿

Every piece I create begins with a moment of inspiration — a flower in bloom, the calm of the ocean, or the soft colors of morning light. In this post, I want to share a peek behind the brushstrokes, the tools I use, and how my art comes to life from paper to print.

My Tools of the Trade (with my affiliate links)

🎨 Watercolor Paints: I use professional-grade watercolor paints to capture gentle gradients and natural hues. Each pigment tells a story — from soft rose petals to warm earthy tones.

🖋️ Adobe Illustrator: After painting, I scan my artwork and use Illustrator to refine details and adjust color tones. It helps me turn watercolor pieces into seamless patterns and high-resolution prints.

Online Sticker Paper: I highly recommend trying this paper out. It’s great for creating kiss-cut stickers.

📜 Fine Art Paper: Texture matters! I print on archival watercolor paper to preserve the softness and transparency that watercolor is known for.

🌐 Digital Tools: For editing and layout, I use tools like Canva and Adobe products such as Adobe Illustrator — perfect for branding, social posts, and previews.

From Original Painting to Product

Each artwork starts with a simple sketch. Once painted, I digitize it using a high-resolution scanner, refine it in Adobe Illustrator, and then prepare it for different formats — art prints, stickers, and pattern designs.

When the final piece is ready, it’s uploaded to my shop and shared on my Patreon and social platforms. Every product carries a bit of that initial spark of creativity — and my hope is that it inspires calm, color, and beauty in your day. 🌸

Closing Thoughts
